CHSU is proud to celebrate the achievements of outstanding administration, faculty, staff and students.
About the CHSU Awards
The CHSU Awards are designed to recognize CHSU students, faculty, administration, and staff who exemplify our mission and values. (Integrity, Excellence, Collaboration, Diversity, Innovation, Stewardship and Growth.) Having a culture of recognition and appreciation for excellence while fulfilling our mission and values are very important at CHSU. Awards also enhance professional competitiveness:
- Students – internships, residencies, jobs, CHSU leadership positions, regional and national leadership positions in professional organizations, etc.
- Faculty, Staff, Administration – promotions, regional and national leadership positions in professional organizations, speaker invitations, grants, etc.
Award Nomination/Voting Process:
Beginning in 2020, a new two-step nomination and voting process was introduced. First the CHSU community was invited to nominate colleagues using specific criteria for each award. Then, the Award and Recognition Committee (ARC) analyzed the nominations and notified top nominees and each nominee was invited to provide a brief bio including why they were deserving of the award. Once the nominee bios were collected, the ARC presented the voting ballot and the CHSU community was invited to cast their vote for the award winners. Each Spring, the University hosts an award ceremony to celebrate these deserving individuals. Below is a list of the awards and past award recipients.
