Congratulations to Dr. Nicole Nielsen for Pursuing a Masters of Education in the Health Professions

Nicole Nielsen, PharmD, BCACP, APh, Assistant Professor of Clinical Sciences, has decided to pursue a Masters of Education in the Health Professions (MEHP) with Johns Hopkins University this fall.

Johns Hopkins University is offering the MEHP degree to equip health care professionals to be an effective leader and researcher for schools and training programs.

As part of the MEHP program, it offers leadership development, inter-professional instruction by faculty members, and an online program for busy professionals.

“I chose to pursue a masters to be a better educator and researcher in academia,” Dr. Nielsen said. “I am also working on leadership development as a focus of my masters. With this degree I plan to use my knowledge in curriculum development, research, grant writing and much more.”

We look forward to Dr. Nielsen’s continued success and support her professional growth plans as she expands her knowledge and career with a Master’s degree. Congratulations, Dr. Nielsen!
