Alta Sierra Intermediate’s Science Fair

In early February, some of the faculty and staff from California Health Sciences University (CHSU) in Clovis, CA were invited to participate in the judging at a local middle school science fair. Dr. Patty Havard, Dr. Carolyn Harris, Dr. Robert Clegg, Dr. Amy Richardson, Dr. Huma Ibrahim and several CHSU College of Pharmacy students participated in the evaluation and grading of 95 science projects at Alta Sierra Intermediate’s Science Fair.
The pharmacy students, Tina Bgdoian (P1), Matt Lopez (P1), Mina Al-Shahed (P2), Kieu Cecilia (P2), and Anabell Corpuz (P2), were pleased to participate and reminisced about their own experiences in science fairs and projects that lead them to their career choice of becoming a pharmacist. Congratulations to the students at Alta Sierra Intermediate for creating some very impressive projects! We hope you pursue your interests in science and the medical field and we hope to see you at CHSU in the future!
