California Pharmacists Association Honors Local Business Leader with Inaugural Award

The CPhA Awards recognize top pharmacists, technicians, students of pharmacy and CPhA Local Association Chapters for their support, innovative contributions, leadership and mentorship to the pharmacy profession and the community.
Among those being honored for dedicating their lives to the profession of pharmacy is local business leader, Paul W. Rohrer, Esq., CEO of the Professional Pharmacy Alliance of California. Mr. Rohrer is the inaugural recipient of the California Friend of Pharmacy Award.
Through his work at the Professional Pharmacy Alliance of California, Mr. Rohrer brings independent San Joaquin Valley pharmacies together to improve their collective buying and negotiating power.
Mr. Rohrer also recently joined the founding Board of Trustees for the new California Health Sciences University (CHSU). CHSU will open the first College of Pharmacy in Fresno County with hopes of starting classes in fall 2014.
The CPhA Awards take place this Sunday, March 17, 2013 at the Monterey Conference Center.
