Congratulations to Dr. David Fuentes for Recently Being Published in Currents of Pharmacy Teaching and Learning Journal

Congratulations to Dr. David Fuentes, PharmD, SHRM-CP, BCPP, BCGP, Department Chair for Clinical & Administrative Sciences and Professor, for having a publication being accepted in Currents of Pharmacy Teaching and Learning.
Dr. Fuentes, along with faculty colleagues at Pacific University Oregon co-authored the research article titled, “Integration of mentored self-directed learning (MSDL) through both group and individual presentations in an accelerated modified block program.” The Currents of Pharmacy Teaching and Learning Journal publishes articles in the area of scholarly teaching and learning, as well as innovative strategies in teaching and evaluating student learning.
Dr. Fuentes received his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Thomas J. Long School of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, and completed a Pharmacy Practice Residency at St. Joseph’s Medical Center. Dr. Fuentes has published in the areas of public health, research compliance processes, inter-professional education, pharmacists’ awareness of differential diagnostics, among other areas. Along with being Department Chair and Professor at CHSU, he is currently enrolled at Southern New Hampshire University in a master of science-level program in organizational leadership.
