New Faculty Join CHSU College of Pharmacy

Amy Richardson, PharmD, has joined California Health Sciences University College of Pharmacy as Assistant Professor of Clinical Sciences. Dr. Richardson earned her PharmD from the University Of Tennessee College Of Pharmacy. She completed her first year Pharmacy Post –graduate residency at Providence St. Mary Medical Center in Walla Walla, WA; then specialized in Internal Medicine for her second year residency at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis, TN. Her research interests include: Readmission reductions, Heart Failure, Chronic Obstructive Respiratory Disease, and Diabetes.

Nathan Goldfarb, PhD, has joined California Health Sciences University College of Pharmacy as Assistant Professor of Biochemistry. Dr. Goldfarb recently served as a Ruth L. Kirschstein Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Florida; and Senior Scientist and Postdoctoral Fellow at Schering-Plough Research Institute. He earned his PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the University of Florida, in Gainesville, FL; his Master of Science in Molecular Biology/Biotechnology at East Carolina University in Greenville, NC; and his Bachelor of Science in Biology at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in Blacksburg, VA. Dr. Goldfarb’s research areas include: Drug Discovery for Tuberculosis, HIV, and Malaria.
