CHSU Hosts a Special Event to Honor Preceptors

October 6, 2017

The CHSU College of Pharmacy, Office of Experiential Education hosted their 3rd annual Preceptor Appreciation Night on Friday, September 29th, 2017.  The event was held at The Falls Event Center to honor their dedicated preceptors who provide a phenomenal hands-on learning experience for CHSU students.
Dr. Dan Brown, Assistant Dean of Experiential Education and Dean, College of Pharmacy and Lily Phanthachack, Experiential Education Program Manager, highlighted the evening with opportunity drawings, a student panel followed by dinner and an awards presentation. A variety of student organizations also donated gift baskets to the event. This year, preceptors received a CHSU preceptor lanyard & badge, along with a Pharmacists’ Patient Care Process card and other gifts. Preceptors also received an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor certificate for their service.
Many thanks goes to our Board of Trustees, Clinical Faculty, Outpatient Preceptor Advisory Committee, Inpatient Preceptor Advisory Committee, IPPE III Workgroup, Prescriber Led physicians, IPPE III Nomination Selection Committee and preceptors for all that they do to support our students and the University! We are proud to partner with all of our preceptors who provide CHSU students with the critical experiential education needed to complete their training as a pharmacist.
