CHSU Offers $40,000 Scholarships for Early Decision Applicants

We are pleased to announce that we are now accepting applications for Early Decision! CHSU College of Pharmacy participates in the Early Decision program through PharmCAS, which is a binding option for applicants who have decided that a particular pharmacy degree program is their first choice and that they will enroll if accepted. As an Early Decision applicant, you can apply to only one pharmacy degree program.
The Early Decision application deadline for fall 2018 is September 5, 2017 and applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.25. In addition to completing the PharmCAS application, you must arrange for PharmCAS to receive all of your official transcripts and fee by September 5, 2017. If your application, transcripts, or fee arrive after the deadline, PharmCAS will automatically change your file from early decision status to regular status. CHSU will make admission decisions on early decision applicants by October 20, 2017.
Upon acceptance into our Early Decision program, you can enjoy having peace of mind knowing that you have secured a space at CHSU. This means less stress and anxiety for you, so you can focus on preparing for your move and looking into housing options. Many of our students that were accepted for early admission say the Early Decision process saved them a lot of time and money that would have been spent on applying to other schools. As an added bonus, they enjoyed getting to know professors and staff at CHSU early in the admissions process.
With the support of a generous donor who believes in our University mission and vision, CHSU is able to offer up to 20 qualified, admitted Early Decision students a $40,000 scholarship to be awarded over the course of 4 years.
The scholarship allocation is as follows:

  • Year 1: $10,000
  • Year 2: $5,000
  • Year 3: $5,000
  • Year 4: $20,000

The Early Decision scholarship is renewable each year by maintaining a minimum GPA of 3.0 at CHSU. For more information regarding our Early Decision program, contact our Office of Admissions.
