CHSU Students and Faculty Participate in SAFE Program to Educate About Fall Prevention

February 15, 2018

CHSU College of Pharmacy faculty and students are proud to participate in interprofessional practice and education through the SAFE (Senior Awareness & Fall Education) program, which is hosted by the Central Valley Coalition at Fresno State University.
CHSU P4 student, Cuihong Leung, and P2 student Evan Yang, recently set up an information booth at the CHSU campus to invite pharmacy students to participate in the SAFE program. At the booth, pharmacy students, especially P1 or first year students, learned about how a pharmacist can help in Fall prevention. Most importantly, they learned the scope of practice that they could do as intern pharmacists and how they can contribute and impact our patients in the community! There is an education video about SAFE available to view at: https://drive.google.com/file/d/17ziBQupB3Ok1BjvavfxtWWIz4jYh-hJw/view
