Class of 2020White Coat Ceremony

August 31, 2016

On Saturday, September 10, 2016, California Health Sciences University will be conducting its 3rd White Coat Ceremony Event.
The White Coat Ceremony is the first step of initiation into the pharmacy profession for CHSU’s Class of 2020. Students will receive their first white coat at the ceremony, and will recite and sign a pledge of professionalism written by members of their own class. The white coat and pledge of professionalism symbolize the honor and responsibility each student pharmacist has to his/her patients, and to the profession. After the ceremony, students and their families are invited back to CHSU’s campus for a reception to celebrate the newly-coated P1 students.
This year’s theme of the White Coat Ceremony is
“Living Up to the White Coat.”
