Dean Hawkins Announces Retirement Plans

May 5, 2015

Dr. David Hawkins, Founding Dean of Pharmacy at California Health Sciences University, announced his plans to retire this July after over 40 years of academic service. “I want to thank Dr. Hawkins for delaying his retirement and agreeing to be our founding dean here at CHSU College of Pharmacy,” stated Florence Dunn, CHSU President. “I credit him for the many successes we have enjoyed and he has been a driving force behind receiving pre-candidate accreditation status with both ACPE and WASC and with fast tracking the inaugural class start date. We wish him the best as he goes home to reunite with his wife, Mary, kids and grandkids.”
