Glassdoor Lists Pharmacy Manager and Pharmacist in 25 Highest Paying Jobs in America List

 

Good news for our College of Pharmacy students! Glassdoor, a website where employees and former employees anonymously review companies and their management, just released its 2018 list of the top 25 highest paying jobs in America.

At #2 on the list was Pharmacy Manager, with a median base salary of $146,412 and approximately 2,009 job openings, the career opportunities are plentiful for a Pharmacy Manager which is a pharmacist who also oversees the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy.

Coming in right behind that at #3 was Pharmacist, with a median base salary of $127,120 and approximately 2,534 job openings. Pharmacists are an integral part of the health care system, they are in direct contact with patients and quickly becoming more involved in supporting physicians by taking on primary care duties.
