Welcome to The Office of Institutional Research and Effectiveness

The Office of Institutional Research and Effectiveness supports the institution by collecting and analyzing data, preparing reports/dashboards, conducting research, coordinating strategic planning initiatives, and actively participating in assessment of learning outcomes activities.
Our work helps align institutional efforts with both internal goals and accreditation standards. We are working closely with academic and administrative departments to promote a culture of assessment for improvement of effectiveness and efficiency.

To support continuous improvement in student success and institutional effectiveness through data-driven decision making, transparency, alignment with accreditation standards and strategic goals.

chsu global learning outcomes (GLO)
CHSU has defined Global Learning Outcomes (GLOs) that the institution expects all students to achieve before graduation. The GLOs are linked to academic and co-curricular activities for tracking of GLO achievement for individual students and outcome-based assessments of the educational programs.
